• PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY
In contrast to adults, congenital heart diseases account for the majority of pediatric cardiac diseases. In this department, congenital and acquired heart diseases are followed up, in addition to a variety of interventional and diagnostic procedures ranging from fetal and pediatric echocardiography and cardiac stress test to Holter monitoring and cardiac MRI.
• PEDIATRIC NEPHROLOGY/RHEUMATOLOGY
Childhood disorders of kidneys and the urinary tract, included but not limited to urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, urinary system stone disease, vesicourethral reflux, nephritis and renal failure, are diagnosed and treated in Pediatric Nephrology Department.
Pediatric Rheumatology Department focuses on arthritis and inflammatory conditions as well as treatments of muscle, bone and joint disorders.
• PEDIATRIC ENDOCRINOLOGY
Pediatric Endocrinology studies and treats the diseases originating from abnormal functioning of endocrine glands. The department especially deals with eating habits and cooperates with dieticians for the treatment of obese children.
• Pediatric Urology
In this field, all diagnosis and treatment procedures necessitated by modern pediatric urology practice are performed in order to correct congenital defects of the male urogenital system.
• Child and Adult Psychiatry
In Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatrists, individual psychotherapy (psychoanalytic, supportive, cognitive-behavioral therapies, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Autogenic Relaxation Therapy, family therapy, medical therapy, and psychometric evaluations are performed and treatments are available for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 years
